Welcome to the County

Sandbanks Provincial ParkPrince Edward County, famous as a part of the United Empire Loyalist settlements, is an island community having an area of approximately 700 sq. Kilometers and some 800 kilometers of shoreline is the “Hub” of the Bay of Quinte area.

What makes this “County” unique are the pastoral vistas; the historic allure; the quiet harbours; the natural shorelines; and the natural wildfire habitat, just to mention a few.

A combination of these special places and events and their interwoven connections with “Country Life” sets Prince Edward County apart from the rest of Ontario.
